Health Centre

A.S.E-Dorothea Mission Health Centre was established in June 2024 with the aim of supporting street-connected rescued girls and the surrounding community. Since then, the Centre has introduced income-generating activities to support its programs and ensure long-term sustainability.

A.S.E-Dorothea Mission Health Centre

In the past year, the Centre has generated income that has helped support daily operations and key services for the girls. All medical costs for the girls and their parents are now fully covered at the local dispensary, which has helped reduce expenses and allow more resources to be used in other important programs.

Income from community services is also used to support family reintegration and reunification, helping to bring children back safely to their families and strengthen family bonds.

The hospital is staffed by several doctors and nurses, and offers various types of medical services:

  • Diabetes and nutritional consultations
  • Blood tests and general check-ups
  • Minor surgical procedures
  • A maternity ward, supporting women throughout their pregnancy until the birth of their child

Through these activities, Dorothea Rescue Centre continues to grow a sustainable model that supports both the girls and the wider community.
