Sponsoring a girl at Dorothea Rescue Centre is an opportunity to support a vulnerable child throughout her journey from protection and rehabilitation to education and reintegration. Your contribution helps provide the stability, care and opportunities she needs to grow in a safe and supportive environment.

Sponsorship contributes to essential areas of a child’s wellbeing, including education, food, clothing, healthcare, safe accommodation, counselling and ongoing psychosocial support. It also helps ensure that girls can attend school, develop essential life skills and receive the guidance they need to build a more secure and independent future.

Many of the girls who come to Dorothea Rescue Centre have experienced difficult circumstances and have had limited access to education, healthcare and basic necessities. Through sponsorship, they are given the opportunity to recover, continue their education and develop the skills and confidence needed to shape their future.
