At the heart of Dorothea Rescue Centre is Sister Caroline Ngatia, a member of the Assumption Sisters of Eldoret (ASE), who started the Centre’s mission of providing care, protection and hope to vulnerable children. Through her dedication and commitment to children living in difficult and unsafe circumstances, Sister Caroline has worked tirelessly to help girls leave the streets and find a safe and supportive place where they can rebuild their lives.

Today, Sister Caroline is supported by a dedicated team who work together to ensure the wellbeing, protection and development of every child at Dorothea Rescue Centre.
