Currently, the Centre operates a poultry that has become an important income-generating activity, contributing significantly to the Centre’s financial sustainability.

The poultry project plays a vital role in supporting the education, care, protection, and overall welfare of the rescued girls. The income generated helps to offset operational costs and contributes to the continuous provision of food, education, healthcare, and other essential needs.

Through this initiative, Dorothea Rescue Centre is strengthening its ability to care for rescued girls while building a sustainable model that benefits both the children and the wider community.
